Filter plates are an important component of chamber filter presses. Like filter cloths, filter plates are prone to wear and tear during use. The filter plates of the chamber filter press are made of composite polyethylene plastic. These filter plates are better able to withstand harsh operating environments, extending the service life of the filter press.

1. Filter plate damaged
Damage to the filter plates in a chamber filter press caused uneven stress. The pressure on the filter plates themselves eventually crushed them. During the use of a chamber filter press, the filter plates may become deformed, uneven, or the height of the filter plate edges and protrusions may be inconsistent, or there may be wear on the edges. These damaged filter plates are not easily visible. Using such filter plates with other filter plates will inevitably cause significant or prolonged damage to the other filter plates. During the operation of the filter plates in the chamber filter press, the equipment applies strong pressure to the filter plates for a long period of time.
2. The filter contains hard or large solid particles
The presence of hard, large solid particles in the filtered material can also cause the filter plates of a chamber filter press to break easily. During the filtration process, these hard, sized solid particles accumulate in the filter chamber. As the amount of solid particles increases, various hard particles accumulate together. Additionally, the filter plates in the chamber filter press automatically exert a force that compresses the filter cake. Since these forces are reciprocal, and the hard particles are unevenly distributed within the filter chamber, the filter plates are prone to damage.
