Vibration motors can be installed in different positions to improve screening efficiency and accuracy, and also to maximize their energy efficiency.

1. Top of the vibrating screen

ZSG linear screens typically use this installation method. If there are limitations on the height and width of the discharge port of the linear screen equipment, the vibrating motor can be installed in the middle of the top of the equipment. This way, the width of the equipment is not increased, nor is it affected by lowering the height of the discharge port.

2. Both sides of the vibrating screen

This installation method is also a common approach for installing vibrating motors in linear vibrating screens. It is typically used when there are restrictions on the overall height of the equipment, but no restrictions on its width. Generally, the height of the screen box of a linear screen is fixed, so the height of the screen box cannot be adjusted. In this case, you can consider installing the vibrating motor on both sides of the linear screen. This can greatly reduce the overall height of the equipment without affecting the working efficiency of the equipment.

When installing a vibratory motor on vibrating machinery, the anchor bolts of the vibratory motor must be tightened securely. An elastic washer must be placed under each nut. When two vibratory motors of a linear vibrating machine are operating simultaneously, it should be checked whether the rotation directions of the two motors are opposite. Otherwise, the power phase sequence of one motor should be changed to make the rotation directions of the two vibratory motors opposite, in order to ensure the uniform flow of materials.
